Bisphenol A is again in the news. Bisphenol A, or BPA, is primarily used in the production of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. It is most commonly found in products such as water bottles, baby bottles and food storage containers. Why all the fuss? Well, BPA is basically a synthetic hormone that can have adverse effects on the body, including breast cancer and low sperm count.
